The Admiral is a multi-functional system which can be used in Therapy, Pulsate and Autofirm modes. Air vent holes in the cells provide true low air loss therapy which reduces moisture around the patient. This robust yet comfortable system can be used for patients up to 159kg.

The Admiral True Air Loss System enables general nursing procedures to be undertaken. The mattress can be operated in Therapy, Pulsate or 'Autofirm' mode. The 'Autofirm' mode reverts back to the previous setting after 10 minutes. This may be achieved by setting the mode switch to 'Autofirm' and setting the comfort control to maximum. After the conclusion of procedures (if within 10 minutes) the setting should be returned to its original position for optimum pressure reduction.

• Adjustable comfort control to suit individual patient needs.
• An automatic lockout facilty is incorporated within the system to prevent unwanted tampering.
• In the event of cardiac arrest, a simple disconnection hose at the pump will deflate the mattress within 10 seconds to aid CPR.
• If the patient requires to be in a semi-recumbent position, the mattress will automatically push more air into the torso section allowing the patient to be supported. The backraise light will illuminate when this occurs.
