Coloured illuminated buttons help you to confirm activation of monitor visually. An irregular heartbeat (IHB) indicator and BP classification indicator provide for closer monitoring together with a full 30-readings memory.

WHO Blood pressure classification indicator

World Health Organization (WHO) classifies blood pressure ranges into 6 stages. This monitor indicates your position (Optimal to Severe Hypertension) automatically after each measurement is complete.

Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) Indicator.

This lights up if IHB is detected during the measurement. Helps users to find an irregular heartbeat, which may cause cardiovascular disease. (For warning purposes only, consult a doctor.)

Dual 30 Memory + Average Reading .

The UA-774 is equipped with dual 30-memory capability. Patients can track vital signs data for almost a month (one measurement per day). Up to 30 sets of data are automatically stored into the built-in memory of the unit. Averaged value of stored data will be shown for quick information and better appreciation of BP trend.

SlimFit Comfortable Cuff.

A new innovative edge free internal bladder “EFB” promises even pressure on the arm during the measurement. This provides the user with a higher level of comfort while the arm is under pressure. Cuff measures 22-32 cms.

Illuminated Start Buttons.

A&D has included an innovative idea for ease-of-use for two persons. The UA-774 has illuminated buttons and the button (1 or 2) is lit up while a measurement is in progress.

Standard AC Adapter Inlet.

The monitor is equipped with an AC inlet for external power source. You may be free from worrying about battery condition and enjoy economical use of the monitor for your daily use. PLEASE NOTE- THIS MONITOR IS NOT SUPPLIED WITH AN AC ADAPTOR (IT IS AVAILABLE USING PRODUCT CODE TB-182U)

I bought for much the same reasons as Stephan Barnard who also reviewed this model. That's to say: Wrist models have lower accuracy and repeatability, A&D have a good reput..
