Trainee Operations & Customer Services Assistant

 

Main Purpose of Job

  • Processing Returns
  • Operations regarding Internet Orders
  • Resolution of customer service queries

 Main Duties   

  • Checks for possible fraud prior to releasing goods
  • Releasing required funds to despatch stock and orders via Access Accounting 
  • Receives and processes orders
  • Issuing credit notes when appropriate
  • Administration duties in regards to Operations
  • Assessment of stock for return to Goods In
  • Organisation of Returns room
  • Dealing with faulty products
  • Collation of despatch paperwork
  • Taking and responding to customer enquiries by telephone, email, our online helpdesk or face to face customers.
  • Taking of customer orders and payments
  • Responding to customer requests for product information and initiating contact to resolve issues preventing despatch or delivery
  • The day to day management and update of Medisaves’ systems and databases
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships with customers, suppliers and other internal departments
  • Production of customer quotes as required
  • Advising other departments of relevant customer issues in order to resolve re-occurrence
  • Other tasks designated by Operations Manager / Customer Service Supervisor

Qualification

NVQ Customer Service or Business Administration Level 2

Weekly Wage

£125 per week

Qualifications Required 

No formal qualifications required although an A-C GCSE Grade in Maths and English and ICT would be beneficial. 

Skills Required

You should be computer literate. You should have excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone and customer service skills. Be a real team player and willing to learn. Possess good time management and organisational skills. You should be able to prioritise work, plan, review and evaluate workloads.

Trainee Customer Service Assistant

 

Main Purpose of Job

  • Resolution of customer service queries

 The successful candidate will be situated in a busy CS environment and will be required to help ensure that an exemplary level of customer service is carried out for every Medisave customer.

Main Duties

  • The taking of and responding to all customer enquiries by telephone, email, our online helpdesk, or face to face customers.
  • The taking of customer telephone orders and payments.
  • Responding to customer requests for product information and initiating contact to resolve issues preventing despatch or delivery.
  • The day to day management and update of Medisaves’ systems and databases

Main Purpose of Job

  • Administrative support to the Media Team

Accounts and Purchasing Team Office Junior

 

Main Purpose of Job

  • General administrative support to the Accounts and Purchasing Team

Main Duties

  • Faxing of correspondence, purchase orders and other required documents
  • Photocopying for all staff, including reporting faults and ordering supplies
  • Receiving and sorting incoming mail for delivery to all staff
  • Preparing, sorting and recording outgoing mail ready for collection
  • Maintaining and ordering stationery stocks
  • Filing
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with telephone calls/taking and passing on messages via e-mail.
  • Preparing refreshments for weekly Management meetings and whenever required
  • When busy assisting the customer service team with incoming calls
  • To perform any additional task that the department supervisors may ask of you

Business Administration NVQ L2 or Customer Services NVQ L2

Trainee Purchasing Administration Assistant 

 

Main Purpose of Job

To assist in the daily running of the Purchasing Department providing administrative and productive operational support to ensure the department maintains an organised structure and performs with maximum efficiency and accuracy.

Main Duties

  • Liaising with suppliers and gaining daily updates on orders and actively pursuing information from suppliers regarding delivery dates etc and keeping accurate and up to date records of this.
  • Communicating Stock information interdepartmentally and directly to customers where applicable, plus dealing with customer and interdepartmental queries regarding delivery dates etc.
  • Assisting the Purchasing Supervisor with purchasing by running and analysing stock Reports on a supplier specific basis.
  • General office duties include maintaining all pre-existing databases relating to Purchasing, assisting with delivery discrepancy processing, performing Price Increase and Product Detail amendments on accounts package where instructed, and ensuring all purchase orders are received by suppliers.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in ad-hoc projects as required.

Business Administration NVQ L2 or Customer Service NVQ L2,
