The Andy Flow can be used on all Med2000 Piston Nebulisers (SE501 & SE502).
The multi-pisper nebulizer A small contribution to improve the aerosol therapy. The cruet Andy Flow is a medical device producing an aerosol with variable characteristics, to be adaptable to the patient's respiratory pathology. Inserting, within the principal body of the cruet, the proper PISPER within the main body of the nebuilser chamber will produce an aerosol with the right granulometric characteristic to let the maximum quantity of medicine be deposited in the part of the respiratory tract to be treated.
The choice of the PISPER is made according to the following therapeutic indications:
PISPER A; is used to treat the Upper Respiratory Tract (the aerodynamic diameter of the particles of the aerosol is included between 5 and 10 microns).
PISPER B; is used to treat the Tracheo-Bronhial Tract (the aerodynamic diameter of the particles of the aerosol is included between 3 and 5 microns).
PISPER C; is used to treat the Deep Respiratory Tract (the aerodynamic diameter of the particles of the aerosol is included between 1 and 3 microns)

Techincal Specification:
Medical device Of Class II According to The European Directive 93/42 • Andy Flow permits a specific therapy of the respiratory affections maximizing the deposit of medicine in the respiratory tract to be treated. • The considerable speed of the treatment, thanks to the double Venturi effect, is reached without affecting the granulometric characteristic and the residual values. • The flow regulating valve permits to vary the breathable flow suiting it for the respiratory functionalities of the patient. The granulometry values have been measured following the protocol indicated in the enclosure DD of the draft pr EN 13544-1:2000. The tool of measure is a Laser Diffraction Particle Sizer Series 2600 by Malvern Instruments Ltd. The values reported in the chart have been taken with the pisper C.
