Q. "Where can I find details of cuffs for the Omron M10 IT Thank You. "
A. "Hello. The only cuff that you can use with the Omron M10-IT is the "pre-formed cuff". The cuff has a fitment range of between 22-42cm. This cuff is supplied with the machine when purchased, however you can order a replacemnet cuff. The product code is OMS18. Hope this helps. Kind Regards."

Q. "What is the differnece between this model and the 705it model?"
A. "Hello. The M10-IT is supplied with a preformed cuff (size 22-42cm) where as the 705IT is supplied with a medium size cuff. (22-32cm). You can have up to 2 users with 84 readings per user with the M10-IT, however on the 705IT you can have up to 28 readings readings, but for only 1 user. Also the M10-IT has an Irregular Pulse Detection. Please follow this link. Q. "Is the Omron M10 validated to British Hypertension Society A A grading? If not what grading is the Omron M10 validated to and what is the difference between this and an A A grading?"
A. "The Omron M10 is still awaiting a grading award from the British Hypertension Society. Unfortunately this can often take a few months. We would definitely expect it to receive the A A grading as it uses very similar technology to the Omron M6 Comfort and the Omron M7 which have both been awarded this prestigious grading."

Q. "What frequency of calibration is required with the M10"
A. "Hello. The M10IT can be calibrated free of charge during the warranty period (3 years) and after this there would be a charge. However, as with any item, frequency does depend on amount of use. In GP's surgeries we would recommend calibration once a year."

A. "Yes the M10-IT is compatible with Vista, the software can be downloaded from the website and there is an installation guide on there as well, they will need to log onto www.omron-healthcare.com and go to blood pressure and select the M10-IT page and the info is at the bottom of the page."

Q. "Why would I choose this product rather than the new M6 Comfordt model"
A. "Both models feature the new and more comfortable pre-formed cuff, (22-42 cms so ideal for larger arm sizes), and intellisense technology (scans the BP as it inflates so gives a quicker reading and will not "overinflate") plus both have extensive memory functions. The real difference between the two models is that the M10-IT has PC compatibility meaning you can download your readings and create spread sheets or graphs to keep a permanent record of your readings as opposed to just the monitor storing them or keeping a diary. "

A. "Yes this is compatible with Vista. If you follow the on screen instructions when installing the software it should be fine. If you have any problems with this you can call Omron and they will guide you through the installation process."
