A. "The M6 Comfort is supplied with a cuff that can measure upper arms ranging from 22cm-42cm. Automatic BP monitors are not yet able to measure patients outside of this range, although we are expecting new products that can measure larger upper arm sizes to be available shortly."

Q. "How do you switch users and retain results per user. Does it link to a computer?"
A. "This model is not PC compatible, but the M10-IT has virtually the same features (preformed cuff etc) and is PC compatible which means you can download readings. The M6-Comfort is particularly popular amongst health professionals where download is not as important. There is a download pdf document detailing how to use the average mode, switch users etc plus there is a video demonstration which will give an overview of how to use the device. The arrow keys at the bottom of the display are primarily used for user switch and to indicate information. This model is market leader at the moment and the pre-formed cuff allows for a much more comfortable reading."

Q. "I have Atrial Flutter will the affect the ability for the M6 COMFORT to get a reading?"
A. "Any Omron machine will be as suitable (with arrhythmia detection) as each other. As you have an atrial flutter there is always a chance that the monitor may occasionally give an error reading as it may not be able to take a reading. This will be the same for any automatic device. The M6 comfort however will be able to show that the reading given is subject to the atrial flutter as the arrhythmia detection symbol will appear. This can be taken into account when recording the blood pressure readings."

Q. "I bought an M6 BP monitor at the end of May 2008 and took 41 readings in sets of three over three days. 93 of the readings of systolic BP were BELOW 140mmHg. Some few days prior a 24 hour ambulatory upper arm cuff monitor gave 61 readings of which 93 were ABOVE 140mmHg. The 24 hour ambulatory monitor was recently calibrated. With the M6 cuff on the left arm and a sphygmometer cuff on the right upper arm the readings were 161 and 165 mmHg respectively. I would be most interested in your comments and suggestions of these somewhat worrying conflicting results. I have obtained with the M6 high readings on an inconsistent basis by deliberate improper slack cuff placement fortunately I received an error result when I cuffed a tin of soup "
