Q. "I am using this product at a concentration of 140 ppm in order to sanitize fresh lettuce leaves with a good rinsing of the product to ensure the washing of all the chemicals. Is the concentration enough and is it safe to use on food products?"
A. "This product is specifically designed for the cleaning of medical instruments and surfaces, it is not designed in any concentration to be used on Food products. If combined with any other chemical there is a risk of chlorine gases and by products being released also it is a hazardous chemical and states on the packaging that if this comes in direct contact with the mouth or eyes that you will need to seak medical attention. It also states that it is combustable and if comes in direct contact with the skin can lead to severe irritation."

Q. "Can this product be used to sterilise work surfaces and utelsils? I am preparing pate and terrines and was wonderinf if the Presept would taint my food"
A. "These disinfection tablets are not specifically designed for use in food preparation areas so as such, we would not recommend their use in this way. Ingestion and / or skin contact can prove harmful."

Q. "can this product be used for water sterilisation for drinking water? If so as what strength per litre?"
A. "This product is not suitable for sterilisation of drinking water as it willirritate the mouth, with symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea and nausea."
