The Mains/Rechargeable Electronic Ear Syringe with dual power is supplied with rechargeable battery and mains power adaptor. The unit is completely portable and makes an ideal irrigator for use within the surgery or on domiciliary visits.
Very simple to use - a unique system with a variable pressure control makes it easier to operate than a metal syringe. The water jet tip applicator is attached to the main body of the Propulse III electronic ear syringe by a coiled tube. The applicator incorporates the disposable water jet tip. The water jet stop button stops the flow of water when fully depressed. The flow of water resumes when the button is released. Alternatively, water flow can be controlled via the footswitch.
Disposable One Use Angled Jet Tips - eliminates the concerns of cross infection. Supplied with 10 individually wrapped Disposable Tips.
Reservoir - the clear plastic container is filled with lukewarm water for patient comfort, it features a detachable lid for easy filling and cleaning and is also graduated to ensure accurate volumes of the recommended cleaning solution.
Reduced operating noise - Propulse's soundproofed and double insulated motor ensures that patient?s distress is kept to a minimum. The main body of the PropulseI III contains the motor, pump, power cord terminating in a UK standard 13amp mains plug and the following user controls:
- green power supply on light - to indicate that the Propulse III is connected to the mains power supply
- operating switch - powers the equipment on and off in conjunction with the footswitch
- pressure/flow control knob - allows the user to determine the pressure and flow of the water at the water jet tip
Hands-free operation - an easy-to-operate footswitch allows maximum control enabling completely hands-free treatment. The footswitch, provided, is attached to the main body of the electronic ear syringe by a detachable socket connection. When pressed, the footswitch causes the Propulse III to deliver water to the tip of the applicator at the pressure set by the pressure/flow control knob. This leaves the hands free for treatment of the patient.
