• Surflo® winged instrument sets incorporate the best of Terumo’s needle technology. The precisely honed edges and triple bevel design facilitate the smoothest possible penetration with minimum tissue trauma.
• The material used for the tubing is highly flexible and virtually memory-less, therefore eliminating the risk of kinking and disruption of the infusion.
• Surflo® winged infusion sets are equipped with large, interlocking wings which ensure perfect stability and grip during venipuncture. To conform to the skin sur¬face and to put less pressure on the blood vessel, the wings are slightly angled in relation to the cannula. The wings are colour-coded for easy gauge identifica-tion.
• The Terumo-thin-walled cannula allows for higher flow rates and therefore is ideal for rapid infusions and dosages with high viscosity.
