The DISYTEST unit has a modern patented red pushbutton valve. This valve is easy to use and provides smooth operation. By lightly pressing on the pushbutton, the air can be released at a rate of 2-3mmHg/sec. This rate can be finely adjusted. When the pushbutton is pressed down into its final positon and snaps into place, the quick release unit is activated, allowing the cuff to be completely deflated. Lightly pressing on the upper part of the pushbutton causes it to pop out of its holder and back into the final position. The valve is then closed again and ready for the next measurement.
