These form a so-called sandwich complex with troponin T. After the erythrocytes have separated, the plasma flows through the detection zone of the test. If the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003econcentration of troponin T is higher than 0.1 ng\/ml\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the detection line turns red. This is due to the accumulation of troponin T sandwich complexes. Excess gold-labelled antibodies bind and stain the control line. If the control line is visible, the test is functioning properly.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eHow it works\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRemove the test strip from the box and place it on a flat surface before taking a blood sample. Make sure to use EDTA or heparinised venous blood. Place the blood sample on the test strip and wait 15-20 minutes for the results.
