The Blizzard Trauma Blanket is a large full-sized high performance, insulating survival blanket offering thermal protection for casualties. This extra large blanket wraps arounds the casualty and seals with a self-adhesive closure. The Blizzard 3 Layer Trauma Blanket can be easily re-opened at anytime for examination of the casualty or for medical intervention.
The Blizzard 3 Layer Trauma Blanket provides total warmth and weather protection with it's innovative Reflexcell™ material, that reduces shock and guards against the risk of hypothermia in all conditions.

The Blizzard Trauma Blanket provides unrivalled thermal qualities, even in harsh, cold conditions. In an emergency, The Blizzard Trauma Blanket will keep a casualty alive over a prolonged period.
Versatile and effective.
It is often impractical to manoeuvre an injured casualty, so some form of wrap around insulation must be used instead. This is where the Blizzard Trauma Blanket comes in.
The Blizzard Trauma Blanket is first opened and then the casualty is placed on top of it. The blanket can then be wrapped around and re-sealed using the self-adhesive closure provided, to give full thermal and weather protection.
The blanket contains 50% more material than the Blizzard Survival Bag, enabling it to protect all including those wearing thick clothing, life jackets etc. The self-adhesive closure works in cold and wet conditions, and can be opened and re-sealed multiple times.

Reflexcell™ is a unique material which blocks heat loss more effectively. The cellular construction traps warm air, giving vastly superior warmth over any comparable survival bags on the market.
Other survival bags may protect from the worst of the weather, but usually casualties will suffer longer term from the cold & damp.
