SAM IO® Training Needles. Designed for use with the SAM IO® Training Driver. Available in packs of 15.
Intraosseous Access Needles for Training Use Only.
Designed exclusively for use with the SAM IO® Driver, these 15g intraosseous needles provide fast, stable vascular access in critical situations where IV placement is not possible.
Available in 3 colour-coded lengths for site and patient specific placement:
- 15 mm – Pink, ideal for paediatric or small adult anatomy
- 25 mm – Blue, standard adult use
- 45 mm – Yellow, bariatric or high soft-tissue depth insertion
Each needle features a stylet/catheter combination with a snap-fit connection, ensuring a secure and stable lock during insertion. The optimised needle-tip geometry enables smooth and efficient penetration of cortical bone, supporting rapid, accurate access in time-sensitive emergencies.
Suitable for insertion in:
- Proximal tibia (Adults)
- Humeral head (Adults)
- Distal tibia (Paediatrics only)
Compatible with the SAM IO Training Kit.
