BD® Nexiva™ Closed Single Port IV Catheter System 20G x 1"
BD's Nexiva closed-system IV catheter has longer dwell times and reduces complications compared with traditional open systems.
BD Vialon biomaterial softens up to 70% in the vein, enabling longer dwell times and reducing the chance for mechanical phlebitis by up to 50%.
BD Instaflash provides quick blood visualisation that may improve insertion success and the number of insertion attempts. The built-in stabilisation platform reduces dislodgement by 84%.
The pre-attached extension tubing minimises blood exposure during catheter insertion, meeting the INS standards. The tubing and stabilisation platform are designed to minimise manipulation and movement on site.
