Birkenstock Tokio Super Grip - Natural Leather

With the Tokio Super Grip, BIRKENSTOCK developed a clog for occupations that demand a great deal of stamina from the wearers and their feet. Its Super Grip sole results in the ideal rolling motion and is nonslip. A midsole made from EVA cushions every step. The special rubber tread delivers tangible sure-footedness. This stability is further enhanced by the adjustable backstrap. This is something that’s appreciated by those working in the medical professions and in kitchens and by service staff, all of whom often spend hours on their feet. The sole of the Tokio Super Grip has been tested for slip resistance in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012 and is rated in the top category (SRC).

Upper: Natural leather

Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.

Insole: Suede

The flexible leather lining, which is gentle on the skin, nestles up softly against your foot and adjusts to its contour. The open-pored and thus very breathable surface makes for a comfortable foot climate, even during more strenuous physical activity.

Footbed material: Cork

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

Outsole: Super-grip

The super-grip sole is comprised of two components: a nonslip, oil- and grease-resistant outsole made of rubber and a shock-absorbing midsole made of light, flexible EVA.
