BD Vacutainer Plasma Tubes contain Sodium Heparin and are used to obtain a plasma sample.

The tubes are also available in plastic in sizes 2ml, 4ml and 6ml and are identified with a green cap.

The additive in the plastic plasma tube is spray coated onto the inner wall.
