The FDA-cleared Littmann® CORE Stethoscope toggles between analogue and amplified listening modes so you can listen how you want to during assessments. Tuneable diaphragm technology lets you hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure on the patient to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. Soft-sealing ear tips conform to individual ears for optimal comfort and excellent sound occlusion.
The Littmann CORE Stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, giving you a HIPAA compliant means to save and annotate 15, 30, 60 or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor the progressions of a disease or for education, and securely share recordings with colleagues.
The Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope is pre-assembled with a CORE Digital Attachment and a Littmann Cardiology IV Stethoscope. Please visit the respective User Manuals for instructions for use.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 8 hours of continuous use in amplified/Bluetooth mode. In normal clinical practice, where use is intermittent, the battery will typically last up to 2 weeks between charges.

The Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope provides wireless functionality using Bluetooth technology when using the Eko App for iOS and Android. The app pairs with Bluetooth-enabled headphones, hearing aids, and speakers. Note that the Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope itself doesn’t pair directly with wireless listening devices. The pairing is through the Eko App.

Littmann recommend using 70% Alcohol Wipes to clean the Littmann range of stethoscopes. These 70% alcohol wipes have rapid microbiological kill performance, meaning they are highly effective against a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. IPA is used globally for professional healthcare disinfection in hospitals and clinics.

Following being assaulted whilst at work i have been unable to use my littmans stethoscope which halted my learning and assessments. Good stethoscope with proper price
Fantastic stethoscope. Now made auscultation a whole lot easier and with the Eko app, detecting some silent murmurs is now a piece of cake.
The stethoscope seems great, but the instructions that it came with weren't as comprehensive as I'd have liked, and it took me a while to find the information I was looking for online. I still haven't worked out how to activate active noise cancellation. Time will tell whether it's better than an analogue stethoscope.

Unfortunately it is not made clear that some of the app options eg saving a reading, requires a subscription. The advert shows the app as free!

I do like it - needing to read adjust my ear to the amplification (especially for lung sounds) and need to be very carful in holding to minimise handing/tube rub interference.

Fantastic for a gift

Sadly in January, I had my doctor’s bag stolen. This was recovered by a member of the public who saw languishing on a street in Salford. The contents however were in a really poor state and couldnt be used. The Insurance company were marvellous and said that if I listed the contents then theyd replace like for like as best they could. My daughter is a young GP who is just finishing her maternity leave while I am now retired. It made sense for her to have the new equipment as I replaced it. Enter this fabulous stethoscope from Littman and Medisave which came within a couple of days, engraved with my daughter’s details and a nice case was included at no cost. These are fabulous items for any GP and the stethoscope is even better than my old digital one. I thought that as one generation moves to the next then this would make an ideal talisman to mark such an event. Thank you.
