Alcometer Breath Alcohol Test
The Alcometer is a professional breath alcohol tester designed to provide fast, reliable screening for alcohol using advanced fuel cell sensor technology. Measuring breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) from 0.00 to 2.00 mg/L, it delivers clear digital results within seconds.
Its compact, easy‑to‑use design makes it suitable for workplace screening, occupational health programmes and on‑site alcohol testing where quick, preliminary results are required. Built‑in warning indicators support alcohol policy thresholds while maintaining straightforward operation for professional users.
How it works
Insert the mouthpiece into the device and turn it on. The alcometer will start a 30-second countdown whilst the fuel cell prepares.
Blow steadily into the mouthpiece once you hear a beep until you hear the same beep again. A circling line is displayed for 3-22 seconds while the alcometer produces the results. Results will remain on the screen for 20 seconds.
If the result exceeds 0.25 mg/L, the "Warn" light will illuminate, and the Alcometer will beep. If you press the power switch when the green or red LED is off, the unit goes back to a countdown stage for another test.
Wait 2 minutes before restesting to maintain accuracy.
