This Becton Dickinson Instye Autoguard Pro Winged Shielded IV catheter uses push-button needle shielding technology that instantly retracts the needle, encasing the safety barrel and helping reduce the risk of needlestick injuries. It also uses Becton Dickinson's Instaflash Needle Technology for a higher chance of first attempt needle insertion success.
This IV Catheter has blood control, taller push tabs and three ridges technology, which are designed to provide users with better control during insertion and advancement. BD Instaflash™ Needle Technology is designed to help reduce painful hit-and-miss insertions and improve first-stick success rates.
This BD Catheter is made of BD Vialon Catheter Material, which softens up to 70% in the vein, enabling longer dwell times and reducing the chances of mechanical phlebitis by up to 50%.
