This pack of 100 Becton Dickinson Vacutainer citrate plus tubes with hemogard safety closures are ideal for blood collection and transportation for coagulation. The tubes are made from sterile plastic and contains sodium citrate as an anticoagulant to prevent blood clots prior to analysis.

The tubes feature a Becton Dickinson hemogard closure designed by Becton Dickinson for blood collection tubes. The hemogard provides protection to medical personel handling the tubes from accidental contact with the blood, reduce the risk of splattering and keeps the blood samples sterile and secure.
