Tactical Blast® Bandage. A multi-purpose occlusive dressing for traumatic wounds including penetrating chest wounds, shrapnel injuries, burns and amputation.
The Blast® Bandage provides a 20" x 20" (50cm x 50cm) treatment area in the size of a 4" (10cm) combat bandage. The wound pad provides covering large enough for the entire back or chest of most casualties involving shrapnel wounds or burns.
The Blast® Bandage allows for the ability to quickly package traumatic amputations, burns and penetrating wounds with minimal effort.
The bandage can be easily wrapped around limbs and secured with the attached elastic wrap, which features “brakes” to help prevent accidental unrolling during high stress application. The bandage has multiple points of adhesion to prevent slippage during the wrapping process (velcro control strips) which decreases the chance of the wound being exposed during movement.
Ready for any traumatic injury.
The large non-adherent wound pad can be easily wrapped around limbs and provides a large sterile protective covering for shrapnel wounds or burns. The Blast® Bandage also has a removable occlusive layer that will cover a 19" (48cm x 48cm) area and can be used to cover abdominal contents minimising the loss of heat and moisture.
