Care Sure Intensive Hospital Bed - Standard Configuration

Compared to the standard Care Sure Bed, it features enhanced safety systems such as advanced side rails compliant with EN 60601-2-52, emergency CPR functions, anti-trapping sensors, visual and audible alarms, and under-bed lighting for night use.
It also offers anti-shear backrest regression, fifth-wheel manoeuvrability, and higher-level ergonomics for frequent repositioning and monitoring.

Comfort
The bed is equipped with four independent HDPE side rails that comply with EN 60601-2-52 standards, each featuring gas spring dampers for single-hand operation and integrated angle indicators.
An automatic positioning system lowers the back section and enables leg regression for pressure relief, while a “Help to Stand Up” button supports safe patient transfers.
Additional features include a linen shelf, linen holder, and an integrated alarm when the backrest reaches 30°.

Ease Of Handling
Movement and positioning are powered by in-built software for smooth synchronisation across sections.
Both clinicians and patients benefit from multiple handsets: a clinician control panel outside the rail, a patient handset inside the rail, and an external nurse handset.
Each offering intuitive, pre-programmed functions such as Trendelenburg, CPR shock, cardiac chair, and exam positioning.
Centralised braking, steering functionality, and anti-static castors ensure excellent manoeuvrability under heavy loads.

Positioning
The electrically controlled foot section provides five distinct positions.
Cardiac chair configuration for cardiac recovery, an exit position for easier transfers, and full Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg for emergency or procedural use.
Each function is activated via user-friendly pictograms or dedicated pre-set buttons for operational efficiency.

Safety
Safety is embedded throughout the design, with a rapid CPR release for emergencies, double LED safety lighting, anti-trapping sensors.
IPX6-protected motors to guard against water and dust ingress.
Medical-grade materials and anti-collision side guards protect patients and extend equipment life, ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.
