Octopus needle–free extension set with two integral Bionectors, double lumen & two anti–reflux valves.

Features

  • 1.5mm x 2.5mm x 30mm
  • 0.4 ml capacity
  • Integrated anti–reflux valves prevent inadvertent backtracking, lowering the risk of drug overdose when running multiple infusions at different rates
  • Manufactured using biocompatible PUR tubing to prevent the risk of drug loss, which often occurs with PVC tubing
  • Separate fluid pathways are maintained to the catheter hub, preventing incompatible drugs from mixing
  • Freely rotating male Luer–locking collar to enable easier connection to the IV catheter's female Luer. This reduces the risk of mechanical phlebitis and its associated complications
  • Reduces the risk of access–associated needle–stick injuries
  • Reduces the risk of cannula movement & subsequent vein irritation
  • Provides a closed system
