We bought them to suspend inside the windows of our house during the heatwave. They were just right for blocking effects of both sun and outside hot air.
Exactly what you would expect from a foil survival type blanket and a fair price. Strong enough to do the job when necessary but not for multiple reuse unless you have been particularly careful.
I bought it to use as a sun shade on a beach tent.

I bought four, two pairs of emergency thermal blankets for the car, and two pairs to hang behind the south facing living room curtains on the French window during the next heat wave,. The latter should reflect the sun and reduce the room temperature. My wife is disabled, in her riser recliner during the day, and the room has reached 30deg even when ventilation the room early morning and closing the curtains after midday. Work in progress. So far, three crocodile clips supporting each sheet have done the business. 👍🏻. I like the fact that these huge 1.4m x 2.04m sheets can be folded and kept when not in use. Delivered through Amazon, arrived promptly. 👍🏻
