The Gel-Kool cushion is part of the innovative Gel-Kool range, which combine gel infused visco-elastic foam with a sodium hypochlorite resistant cover.

When used in combination with the Gel-Kool or Gel-Kool+ mattress, the Gel-Kool cushion offer an optimum solutions to 24 hour pressure care.

Innovative Gel Technology

The gel infused visco-elastic foam creates a micro-climate between the patient and the support surface, balancing body heat and enhancing comfort.

Greater Cover Resistance

The Gel-Kool sodium hypochlorite resistant cover can withstand a higher concentration of cleaning substances without compromising its protective properties.

Smarter Support

The gel beads infused into the visco-elastic foam interact in response to pressure peaks, doubling the pressure distribution capacity of the surface and decreasing the risk of bottoming out.

Temperature Control

Low temperatures can increase the hardness of standard visco-elastic foam, affecting its pressure distribution property. The high thermal conductivity of the gel infused into the Gel-Kool surface, enables excellent pressure relief performance across a wide range of temperatures.
