
Medi-Test Ketone Test Strips
This Medi-Test Ketone measuring strip is suitable for screening for metabolic anomalies. It can also be used for preventive diagnosis, monitoring progress or relapse during therapy and self-monitoring by a patient.
These urine test strips serve exclusively for detecting morbid (pathological) changes in human urine.
How to use it?
- Make a note of the time and date of the test
- Remove one test strip without touching the reaction zone/test fluid before immediately closing the container
- Submerge the test field of the test strip in the urine sample for approximately 1 second
- Remove the test strip from the urine sample and dab the lateral edge briefly on some paper; do not put the test strip down
- Wait 30 seconds
- Match the colour of the test field to a colour on the container label (if you cannot find a match, select a colour that is as close as possible)
- Note the result and give it to your doctor on your next visit
- You must finish the evaluation within 60 seconds after submerging the test strip
