Medisave ultra value ten parameter urinalysis reagent strips x 100. Simple dip-and-read for Vitro Diagnostic test strip for use in urine. The test parameters are easily compared using the results chart on the side of the container. Readings are ready for comparison at just 60 seconds (Leukocytes between 60-90 seconds).  Supplied in a quantity of 100, encased within a durable desiccant equipped case.

Test Procedure: 

• 1. Collection:
  • Collect urine in a clean, dry container that allows immersion of all the fields on the test strip. Do not add preservatives. The use of fresh morning urine is recommended for optimal nitrate tests, as well as for the valid determination of bilirubin and urobilinogen. If immediate testing is not possible the sample should be refrigerated but not frozen, then brought to room temperature before testing.
• 2. Valid test procedure:
  • The procedure must be followed exactly to achieve reliable results. 1. Dip the strip into the urine up to the test area for no more than two seconds 2. Draw the edge of the strip along the brim of the vessel to remove excess urine; at this time, don't make the test areas touch the brim of the vessel. Turn the strip on it's side and tap once on a piece of absorbent material to remove any remaining urine
• 3. Results:
  • Compare the colours of the reagent pads exactly after 60 seconds (Leukocytes after 90-120 seconds) with the colour chart on the cannister label under good light. While comparing, keep the strip horizontal to prevent possible mixing of chemicals when excessive urine is present.
