Soft, highly absorbent dressing made of Calcium Sodium Alginate fibres.

Melgisorb® Plus consists of fibres made of calcium sodium alginate and creates a gel on contact with exudate or solutions containing sodium ions (saline). It absorbs and retains wound exudate and has a haemostatic ability.

Melgisorb Plus is soft, pliable and can be cut to shape and is easy to use.

It absorbs and retains wound exudate and does not adhere to the wound site when gelled

Melgisorb Plus is conformable and comfortable

Melgisorb® Plus is intended for a wide range of moderately to heavily exuding wounds, both infected and non-infected wounds. These may include pressure sores, venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, post-operative wounds and dermal lesions and other external wounds inflicted by trauma.
