The Ferno Paraguard Excel Stretcher is an excellent, all-round proven search and rescue stretcher and is without an equal within the EMS market. It's a compact and light design that is easy to use, and is perfect for both horizontal and vertical lifting, including by helicopter evacuation. Approved and used by many authorities and organisations globally, including NATO.
The lightweight and compact design of the the Paraguard Excel Stretcher ensures it is easy to carry and use - the stretcher can be made ready for use in just seconds. Storage and handling is made easy by folding in half, simply unfold to deploy.

- Ideal for use in awkward spaces – designed for use and performs highly effectively in difficult environments, collapsed buildings, industrial accidents or confined spaces
- Easy to transport – slot-in carrying handles attach to head and foot ends of the stretcher allowing two rescuers to more easily carry the casualty
- Quick and simple to use – colour-coded strapping system allows for easy securing of the chest, arms, thighs and lower legs
- Safe and secure – a three-point non-slip forehead strap holds the head in place, ensuring effective head immobilisation, a figure of eight strap used to hold the feet to avoid any slippage of the occupant
- Hygienic and easily maintained – impervious to oil, water and grease, rot-resistant and with easy-clean fully heat-sealed edges to ensure effective infection control
