THE INDUSTRY BENEFITS OF POWDER FREE NITRILE GLOVES

The GL051 Powder Free Nitrile Gloves (Pack of 100) are latex-free blue nitrile gloves with texted fingers for an improved grip.

These powder-free disposable nitrile gloves are manufacturedusing nitrile rubber. Nitrile rubber is a synthetic rubber also known as nitrilebutadiene rubber, NBR, Buna-N and acrylonitrile. Disposable nitrile gloves aremostly used within lab or cleaning environments due to their unusual resistanceto oils, acids, fuel and puncture.

Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is also present in industriessuch as aeronautical or automotive due to the use of fuel/oil handling hoses.NBR will remain stable at high temperatures of −40 to108 °C making it versatile when mass producing products such as footwear, sealants, floor mats and more.

Gloves manufactured using Nitrile butadiene rubber is three times more puncture resistant than latex gloves. Due to the series of tests these gloves go through, we often refer to these gloves as Medical Grade and therefore hospitals, dentists and the care sector will regularly purchase and stock this product.

“The preferred glove when there is risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other environmental contaminants.”

Avoiding Allergic Reactions to Latex

For those with latex allergies, nitrilerubber is free from latex protein making it the preferred option for thoseprone to allergic reactions. When handling patients or care home residents itis also preferred that you use these for additional safety precautionssurrounding allergies.
