QuikRead Go HbA1C
QuikRead go HbA1c is an easy-to-use, reliable test for quantitative measurement of glycated haemoglobin from a finger prick or blood sample. These tests provide accurate results in under 6 minutes.
HbA1c testing has been shown to improve patients' commitment to treatment and monitoring, resulting in improved glycemic control and reduced risk of harmful and costly comorbidities, which could reduce healthcare costs.
HbA1c has a measuring range between 20-140mmol/mol, 4.0%-15.0%. The one-step sample collector uses only 1μL of finger-prick blood, which ensures easy sample collection.
The quantitative HbA1c results can be used in monitoring the long-term blood glucose control in individuals with diabetes mellitus, to aid in diabetes diagnosis and identifying the risk of a patient developing diabetes mellitus.
This test is run on the QuikRead Go Instrument, which is a fully portable testing device.
Ideal for use in GP surgeries, pharmacies, care homes, community outreach projects, LTOT and hospital departments.
