The Cobas b 101 system is an in vitro diagnostic test system suitable for HbA1c, lipid panel, and CRP tests at the point of care, delivering quick and accurate results, and is intended for professional use in a clinical laboratory or at point of care locations, intended for near-patient testing, not for self-testing.
The Cobas b 101 system is very user-friendly, featuring a large touchscreen, full keyboard and multiple language support, so it can be used by a wide range of people, with an easy-to-follow graphical user interface to guide the user along. It also requires no calibration and is maintenance and service-free so you'll know it's always ready for when you need it.
Sample Requirements:
- Lipid disc: Direct sample application (no capillaries, tubes, or pipettes are needed), requiring only 19 μl of sample. Fresh capillary blood, K2 or K3-EDTA anticoagulated whole blood, or plasma can be used for lipids (TC, TG, HDL-TC, LDL, non-HDL).
- HbA1c disc: Direct sample application (no capillaries, tubes, or pipettes are needed), requiring only 2 μl of sample. Fresh capillary blood, K2 or K3-EDTA or lithium heparin anticoagulated venous whole blood can be used for HbA1c.
- CRP disc: Direct sample application (no capillaries, tubes, or pipettes are needed), requiring only 12 μl of sample. Fresh capillary blood or serum, K2 or K3-EDTA, or lithium heparin anticoagulated whole blood or plasma can be used for CRP.
