Sterile Disposable Scalpel with Handle
Swann Morton's sterile disposable scalpels are individually sealed and packaged in transparent thermos-formed trays. The blades have graduated measures on the reverse of the handle for indication only.
When you open the packet, the seal changes colour, making it easy to spot if the packet has been breached. Disposable scapels are ideal for minor procedures outside of operating theatres and on hospital wards.
All sabre blades are made from carbon steel.
SDG scalpels
The SDG scalpel has a double-edged minor skin graft blade, designed to reduce the occurrence of post-procedure infections amongst infants having undergone circumcision.
