A suction catheter is a flexible, long tube that’s designed to removed various substances from within the body. The product is used to provide access to respiratory tract to remove secretion with maximum comfort to the patient. Critically ill or injured patients who require a breathing (endotracheal) tube or tracheostomy tube need occasional suctioning to remove secretions from the airway.
