Used for holding dressings in place. Elastic tubular bandage made of cotton 100%. A method for rapid and convenient dressing retention. The tubular dressing is applied over the wound covering producing wrinkle-free results and allowing for unimpaired movability of the joints.

Stockinettes provide an intact surface that retains its integrity, even when exposed to high mechanical strain. Wounds, as well as dressing supports, tubular stockinettes are, due to specific properties, also used as protective covering under or over zinc paste bandages or orthopaedic casts, as well as to cover splints and padding materials.
