What is a luer lock syringe?
A luer lock syringe has a threaded tip that the needle can be screwed into creating a tight seal and prevents the needle from detaching. It also prevents leakage.
How does a luer lock syringe work?
The needle is inserted into the syringe tip and then rotates clockwise locking the neelde tightly to the syringe, creating a mechanical lock. The luer lock system holds needles tigheter to the syringe than luer slip tips.
