This clipper holds around 1500 needles and is smaller than a stapler, easy to pop in a bag when travelling. The clipper is easy to use, but it's meant for insulin needles. I no longer need a sharps box, as the rest of the needle can be safely disposed of in the bin.
This nifty little gadget means I don't have to spend a fortune at the vet getting rid of my dog's diabetic syringes. One of these will snip the needle off approx 2 years worth of syringes (i use 2 a day). Once you snip the needle off you can chuck the plastic part of the syringe in the bin. Highly recommend if the cost of syringe disposal is too high.
Does exactly what it should do, I bought one from an online market place, it was no good….but this one clips the needle straight off….highly recommended.
I've been using a BD Clipper for many years to cut off my insulin injection needles rather than a big clumsy needle box. In my opinion they are brilliant idea .

Used the BD Safeclip on numerous occasions to remove the needle tips in relation to my diabetic injections. By far the best device out there. Only problem is that it is becoming more difficult to obtain them as I belive that BD no longer make them.
It was delivered as promised, pretty quickly and is ideal for taking on holiday instead of my sharps bin! I bought it to replace one I've used for years which seems to have lost its ability to snip.
I've been using these safe clips since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes back in march 2001. They are excellent for making used needles safe, they are extremely compact, practical and not a problem at all to carry around.
I was recently told by medical professionals that they are no longer being produced, so it was removed from my repeat prescription and replaced with a sharps box. These boxes are cumbersome and not portable at all. They can also only be returned when full to certain places, which is not convenient at all. I decided I would do an internet search to see if I could buy some. To my extreme delight I found that Medisave stocked these and I could receive them within a couple of days!! Absolutely brilliant, I am so elated you would not believe. A brilliant price, extremely fast delivery and overall extremely pleasant experience!! Cannot fault any part of the process.
